Artist's Description

This photograph was taken on the Eagle Creek Trail off route 30 in the
Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Getting the picture requires a 3.8 mile
RT hike to Punch Bowl Falls. Note: There are some areas where the
Drop off next to the trail is so precarious that a cable has been attached
to the cliff on the left side of the trail to hold on to in that area. The
image was taken at 10:44am on the morning of May 31, 2006. The
camera settings were; 1 second at f/22 with the ISO set to 200. The
lens used was a Nikon 18 - 200mm DX zoomed to the 35mm equivalent
of 27mm. The camera used was a NIKON D2X digital camera.
